Information for Developers

What is the FaceCash API?

The FaceCash Application Programming Interface (API) is the gateway between your Point of Sale (POS) application and the FaceCash payment processing system. It's a tool that software developers can use to integrate FaceCash functionality into their software.

How do I sign up for access?

In order to use the FaceCash API you first need to sign up for the FaceCash service using our standard sign up procedure. Once you have an account, click on Developer API Access on the home page.

Is there documentation or example code?

Yes. All of the function calls are documented and example code is provided.

What are the minimum requirements for my Point of Sale system?

Your hardware must display a JPEG photograph, preferably with dimensions of 640x640 or 360x360 pixels, with room on the side for some buttons. Your application also needs to be able to communicate via HTTPS over the internet, and needs to be able to parse and generate either XML or JSON input.

Who can I contact if I have additional questions?

The best way to get in touch with us is via our Contact Us page. We actually read the forms and will route inquiries to our development team as appropriate.
